New Humanity is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, humanitarian N.G.O. based on voluntary service, promoted by P.I.M.E. (Pontificio Istituto Missioni Estere), Rome, legally registered in Italy, and also approved by the Royal Government of Cambodia. New Humanity Cambodia has always operated mainly in the field of Education and Human Development. In 2006, it has been decided to focus more on the education part of all our programs. Therefore our future projects will be oriented consequently. Vision and mission
Vision A society where everyone, irrespective of age, gender, religion or ethnic group, has the same chance to receive an appropriate education, corresponding to their needs, aptitude and ability.
Mission To develop and improve education services, especially for children, youth, women and disabled, by working in partnership with local communities.

HISTORY INVOLVEMENT IN CAMBODIA:
In April 1992, New Humanity made a written statement of intention to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs–International Cooperation to open an office and start operations in Cambodia. On October 23, 1992, our first Agreement was signed with the Ministry of Education of Cambodia on a program of Community Education integrated with Rural Community Development to be implemented for a 6-year period (renewable) in the provinces of Kandal and Kompong Speu. Until today New Humanity has implemented several rural development projects in 3 different provinces:
New Humanity has also carried out specific projects in higher education sector:
OUR PROGRAMS Currently, we are working in 3 different places: In the province of Kandal we are carrying out an Education and Development Project for Disabled (EDPD) since 2001.
In the province of Kompong Chhnang we have started an Integrated Community Education Program in 2002. Since 2005 it is divided in several components:
