Cambodia- Apostolic Nuncio for Cambodia met the PM

Phnom Penh(C.S.C) - Archbishop Savaltore Pennacchio the Apostolic Nuncio for Cambodia had met the Price Minister Hun Sen at the Ministry of Foreign Affair on March 21th, 2007. In his first visited Archbishob Savaltore to the Price Minister Hun Sen, he express thanks to the goverment of Cambodia for all the collaboration, understanding and help the Catholic Church Mission in Cambodia. And also reporting the activities of the Catholic Church in concerning about the human development, promoting in particular the values of life, which one of the main common values for Buddhist Catholic and other religions. The Nuncio also explained the collaboration of the Catholic Church in the field of health , espcially on 30th of March the Church will open a children’s Hospital in Takeo Province about 70 kilometres to the South of Phnom Penh, it is a coorporation between the Bambino Jesu hospital in Rome, and the Ministry of Health of Cambodia. The PM congratulated the Catholic Church for her Work done in many fields. He remenbered the Collaboration of the Catholic Church during the floods in the year 1990s. He recognized the work of the Catholic Church and the aspiration the Church has of having harmony among religions. And also the Price Ministor Hun Sen promised to continued the collaboration with the mission of the Catholic Church to improving the standard of education and health in Cambodia.
