Celebration for the Adoration of the Body and Blood of Christ

BATTAMBANG(C.S.C) -- On Sunday 28 of June, 2006 the Church in Battambang had a special celebration for the Adoration of the Body and Blood of Christ. The community commission and the Youth Group prepared this celebration. There were the participation of aproximately 300 Christians who came over from all the corners of the Prefecture of Battambang, together with bishop Kike Figaredo, Fr. Pedro Gomez and Fr. Gabin. On the ocassion of this solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ 28 Christians received the Boody and Blood of Jesus for the first time. The meaning of this celebration is to remind ourselves of the Sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross, who gave His life to redeem us from all sins.
