Kampong Cham Church: 224 Children attended International Children Day

Kampong Cham (CSC): The Apostolic Prefecture of Kampong Cham has taken place the 56Th International Children Day and the 6th of Kampong Cham. In this color opportunity, the children, Msgr. Antosamy Susairaj, Fr. Géral Vogin, representative of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport Mr. Chaouy MongSreng in Kampong Cham, and teachers were presented. Two hundred and twenty four (224) of children most of them have 8 to 16 year olds, who came from ten villages including Koh Rokar, Phum Thmey, Kdol leu, First and Second Thmor Pech, Tropaing Kandoul, Cham lak , Andong Chroh, Rong Chak and Boeng kok. Msgr. Antosamy Susariaj and representative of Ministry of Education were released the balloons and cut the inaugurated line in order to keep Souvenir and Welcome by children.

“In the day of International children, the children will receive an aware of education that was present in the program. We have a purpose to promote the value of children through an education among of Catholic, Buddhist, Islam, and other religions in our territory”, Msgr. Antosamy said.

He added that it made me very happy that saw many of children were attended.

Representative of Ministry of Education in Kampong Cham has addressed to the participants and described the history of International Children Day. He also gave an advice to Children for building their lives in the future.

Beside, it also presented the traditional dance, traditional dancing and others competition in order to set up the joyful ceremony.

“I has participated in this ceremony for threes times, and I also have a dance for competitions called “Karp dance”, Thon Vanndy, 13, who came from Koh Rokar Villages told CSC reporter.

At the second day, the final of program also gave award to winner and party in the glad atmosphere.
